While the Aerro 6.9 is meant to be a beginner to mid intermediate level boot it does not force you to pick between and technology. Using a Polytec Lite shell the Aerro 6.9 stays nice and lightweight and the bi-injected shell make entry and exit easy and pain free. The Bi-injection also allows the Aerro 6.9 to wrap the foot reasonably well without feeling over tight and the 105mm last and the Super Comfort Liner help to keep things nice and relaxed for all day comfort and warmth. Now for the gadgets. The Aerro 6.9 offers a very convenient ski/walk mechanism to make the walk to the hill and apres ski more comfortable, X-Module cuff volume expansion so you can tweak the leg fit, and four aluminum buckles, two of which are micro adjustable for fine tuning the overall snugness. When you package all of this into a 70 flex shell it makes the Aerro 6.9 about the best bang for your buck in beginner boots. Given the softer flex pattern it also functions very well for intermediate juniors or teens that need a wider profile than youth boots offer.
